1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, submitting an application, or participating in any program hosted by the Ireland Sino Institute ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services or participate in our programs.

2. Program Eligibility and Application

All applicants must meet the specific criteria outlined for their chosen program (e.g., degree requirements, TEFL certification, clean criminal record). We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our sole discretion. Providing false, misleading, or forged documents during the application process will result in immediate termination from the program without refund.

3. Visa and Immigration Compliance

Participants are strictly required to comply with all immigration laws of the People’s Republic of China. While we provide assistance and issue the necessary documents to obtain a proper Z-Visa or study visa, the final decision to grant a visa rests entirely with the Chinese embassy or consulate.

• We are not liable for any delays, rejections, or additional costs incurred if a visa application is denied.
• Participants must not engage in any unauthorized employment or activities outside the scope of their designated visa.

4. Financial Terms and Stipends

Where applicable, program fees must be paid in full by the designated deadlines. For programs that include a monthly stipend (e.g., 2,500 RMB), payments are contingent upon the participant's satisfactory completion of their assigned duties and adherence to the host organization’s attendance policies. Deductions may apply for unexcused absences or breach of contract.

5. Accommodation and Code of Conduct

We provide free accommodation for the duration of the program as outlined in your specific placement agreement. Participants are expected to:

• Maintain the accommodation in good condition and cover any costs related to damages caused by negligence.
• Respect local customs, laws, and cultural norms while residing in China.
• Adhere to the professional code of conduct expected by the partner school or host company.

Failure to comply with local laws or the code of conduct may result in immediate dismissal from the program and eviction from the provided accommodation.

6. Educational and Cultural Products

From time to time, we may provide or offer for purchase various educational and cultural products, including but not limited to language courses, cultural immersion guides, training materials, and digital workshops.

• Use of Materials: Any products or materials provided are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell these materials. All intellectual property rights remain with the Ireland Sino Institute or our respective partners.
• Purchases and Refunds: These products are provided "as is." Any specific terms, conditions, or refund policies related to the purchase of these products will be provided at the point of sale and are expressly incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.

7. Third-Party Partners and Services

Our website and programs may feature links, integrations, or recommendations for services operated by independent external organizations ("Third-Party Partners"), such as Viator for cultural tours or GlobalGiving for charitable initiatives.

• Independent Operations: These Third-Party Partners are completely independent of the Ireland Sino Institute. We do not own, manage, or control their platforms, operations, or the services they provide.
• Separate Terms: Any bookings, transactions, or donations you make through these Third-Party Partners are strictly between you and the respective partner. Your use of their services will be governed by their own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies, which we strongly encourage you to review.
• Limitation of Liability: The Ireland Sino Institute assumes no responsibility or liability for the actions, omissions, quality of service, or any disputes arising from your engagement with these Third-Party Partners.

8. Cancellation and Termination

These cancellation and termination policies apply to all our offerings, including our China Internship Programmes, educational courses. We reserve the right to terminate your participation in any program or course if you violate these Terms and Conditions, breach local laws, or fail to fulfill your placement or coursework duties.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Ireland Sino Institute shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, losses, or injuries arising from your participation in our programs, travel to and from China, or actions of third-party partners (such as host schools or accommodation providers).

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The administrative and business operations of the Ireland Sino Institute, as well as any disputes arising directly from these Terms and Conditions prior to your departure, are governed by the laws of Ireland. However, while you are physically present in the People's Republic of China, you are strictly subject to and governed by Chinese laws, regulations, and local jurisdiction. Any legal matters, disputes, or incidents occurring within China will be handled entirely under Chinese law.
